1978, Scranton, PA. A handful of guys pulled together to establish a local area club to connect for masculine camaraderie and brotherhood.

A guy by the name of Bill T. seems to have been the strongest force behind the official formation of the club. His interest in macho events seemed to drive the club. Jim D. owned the local bar, Silhouette, which served as the club's home bar for awhile. Bill A. and Bill S. designed the back patch Pocono Warriors display on their vests today. Bill T. was probably the most integral part of this first wave of members. He was instrumental in connecting with similar clubs and invited Jesse L., the Pennsman founder, to help the Warriors get started. Over time the Warriors began attending Runs and affiliated with AMCC. In no time at all, they were hosting their own annual Run. The "White Water Run," often attended by up to 200 guys, offered an array of special interest sessions and demos throughout the first floor of the hotel. The Warriors also hosted an "Annual Skinny Dip."

Haska House became a place for the Warrior's to hang together and host many social events. Eventually, the Run moved to Valinor Farm in Bucks County, PA. Several runs and great memories occurred at Valinor.

RECENTLY The Warriors host 100 MEN IN THE WOODS @ ONEIDA CAMP AND LODGE. It is an ideal country setting to retreat to with over 100 men: Think of it ... lush, rural, private surroundings, great facilities, fantastic food, engaging activities, refreshing outdoor cocktail parties, friendly folk, great times, and of course, lots of men. Truly a memorable leather event.

Plan to join us on our RUN and meet new guys, strengthen old friendships and just be yourself.

FUTURE The Warriors look forward to celebrating their 31st Anniversary in February of 2009.

Yes, we're looking for guys who are interested in the Leather Lifestyle or Direction of Interest and who are considering a fellowship of like-minded men.

Being a dispersed club, we are not "in your face"-- we don't have lengthy, monthly meetings and sponsor countless events. We meet just four times a year, in various cities in the region and host one major event. Our club members are from all over the east coast, which makes our events so rewarding. When we meet and hang together -- whether its for a bar night in NYC, our anniversary banquet in Philadelphia, or our country weekend RUN -- we truly enjoy one another's company, friendship, and companionship.

It doesn't matter if you're new to the leather scene, or an established leatherman, or just curious about the leather lifestyle... write us for info and accept our invitation to join us for any of our club activities. Remember, you don't have to live in NY, PA or NJ. We have club brothers in MA, DC, FL and even Canada.Absolutely the very best way to meet us, and many other guys from other leather and motorcycle clubs, is at our annual RUN, "100 Men in the Woods."
