Although there are many levi / leather clubs out there, there are some differences. It seems each club has a slightly different focus or style, or what is called club culture. Leather clubs are similar in many ways, mostly in the types of things they do, such as sponsor events, have "bar nights" to raise money for charities, host leather RUN's, and ... well, play. Any number of interests comprise and contribute to the club's culture and style. Since there are so many and varied "interests," or commonly called "fetishes," membership in a club should reflect those that you are particularly interested. Makes sense?

So, whatever you're into, or want to get into, there's a club out there for you.

For those who are seeking membership in a Levi / Leather club, we offer unique and attractive club dynamics that aren't always found in other clubs.

The Pocono Warrior culture

Dispersed location -- we are not a local club to any one city or town. Our "play area" is focused mostly in the mid-atlantic region, specifically New York City and Philadelphia. Our members live all along the eastern seaboard from Florida to Canada, concentrating in Boston, NY, PA and DC Metro plex.

Few meetings -- we only meet four times a year, one of which is at our annual RUN. Who wants more business meetings. Not us!We'd rather meet and party more often at other club's RUNs than sit in metal chairs for hours.

All Male Membership -- yes, our club's constitution establishedThe Pocono Warriors as a male club, and we prefer to retain that composition and identity. After all, given our sexual orientation, it makes sense for us to be in the presence and company of fellow MEN. If we wanted a mixed group, we can go to any number of gay and straight clubs or organizations to socialize. Naturally, we wish to retain the character and simplicity of an all-male fellowship of like-minded leather MEN. (Please note: we fully respect, appreciate and enjoy other leather club members who are/have women as members)

Strong Masculine Camaraderie -- we, as a club, prefer to engage in more "masculine" activities, refraining from focusing on social theatrics such as drag performances, campy female impersonator monologs and festive "girlie" gaiety ("now, where are my beads?" Individual members may enjoy and participate in such events, or "moments," but on the whole, our club does not generally engage in these types of entertainment pursuits.

Blend of experience and maturity -- the Warriors represent well the age range of the general leather population along with a rich experience and network base. We're not a new club and we're not a dying club. We are active -- just enough -- and we're established. Sensible, huh?

Friendliness -- above all, we enjoy each other and do not take issues and things too seriously. Our purpose is to enjoy the company of one another -- any other agenda we have falls second to our brotherhood and fellowship. This is why we're together ... we want to be ... it is evident in how we are with one another. Genuine, honest, friendly respect and appreciation for all in the leather family is our hallmark as a club.

Membership:Full and Associate

Both types of membership have the same process.Only Associate membership doesn't require as much involvement and allows you to be a full member of another club.We are the perfect club for those who are active in another club or organization in that we have few meetings and we're not in each other's faces by all being in the same town. Full membership shows dedication and commitment that men respect in a buddy and a club brother. It far transcends the "membership card" or collection of club patches status.

Membership Process

A sponsor (a club member) is required.The sponsor presents you at a meeting.You need to attend two additional meetings and be voted in by the club membership. Of course, there is payment of club dues and you are provided the club colors to wear on your leather vest.
